“Come and Try”

After the success of the Tango Mass at our last concert, a number of people have applied to join our choir. If you’ve ever thought about joining a choir, we are having a free “Come and Try” evening on 21st of August. On the night, our MD, Au Arias (composer of the Tango Mass), will show us how to learn a new song from start to finish and we will perform it at the end of the rehearsal.
You don’t need to be able to read music or have any experience of singing in a choir and there will be no stress – just bring your enthusiasm. There will be a break in the middle of the rehearsal for a cuppa (and cake) so you can get to know choir members (a very friendly bunch) as well as newcomers.
Our “Come and Try” is free. It will be held in our usual rehearsal venue – St John’s Renfield Church, 22 Beaconsfield Rd, Kelvindale, G12 0NY and will last for two hours from 6.40 to 8.40 pm.
